Hi Mike,
You do realize that denial is the first state of alcohol abuse. :-)
Screw Cap that :-)
How to get rid of one in four adults. Omigod, Mike T is promoting genocide! :)
Eventually if folks here don't respond to this cross-posted stuff, it will fade out.
Unfortunately, the responders from UK.drugs, etc. don't know enough to remove the non-pertinent NG's from their response. Other than doing a kill-file for every Subject Line Header that Jasbird, and his/her ilk launch, there's not much to do, except ignore. It seems that the X-posting goes with the phases of the moon, or something similar. Right now, one of the Photo Shop NG's has the same problem, and the list of "other" NG's is strikingly similar.... hm-m-m, wonder if the SAME folk are behind it?
Hunt
PS Maybe we just flood those other NG's with TN's on wine... nah, maybe we don't.

Dale is right, as he usually is about this stuff. The gentlefolk of AFW should not respond.
If you absolutely feel you must respond, _please_ remove the cross post, as Hunt did. These folks don't read afw, they'll think we didn't bite and eventually go away. Only in this way does afw stay the most civilized corner of usenet. Otherwise we'll be overrun by temperance and other nutters.
(BTW, the non-response goes for our local trolls too, including the current one. Don't feed them, they go away.)

If you're using Outlook Express, select a message from Jasbird and click on Message/Block Sender. This will lose all his posts in all subject headers. Judicious use of this on other names from the "foreign" forums will help, though the "ignore them and they'll go away" advice is the only full solution.
Incidentally, apologies...I posted a reply to one post meaning to delete the cross-post addresses then, distracted by a toddler, hit send without doing so.
