In yesterday's New York Times, there was a section on Nova Scotia mentioning wines and tours of vineyards. I'd never heard of such things and I wonder if anyone has tried those wines?

Visting Nova Scotia last summer, our group of four visited "Domaine de Grand Pre" vineyards near Wolfville, NS. Very hot day (+100 degrees), had very nice luch and sampled a few of their wines in their tasting room. Did not take tour due to heat and time constraints. Bought one bottle (750 ml.) of "Castel Vintner's Reserve 2007" and a bottle (375 ml.) of "Pomme d'Or", a desert "wine." Enjoyed the Pomme d'Or over the Xmas holidays this past December.
