A brief article discussing the wineries of Lebanon's Beka'a Valley appeared in today's New York Times:

Although there's little ground-breaking information there, it does discuss some of the newer wineries and also gives some useful information for would-be tourists. Personally, I find it incredibly heartening that wine is flourishing in an area that was a pricinpal battlefield of Lebanon's long and bloody civil war.
