Pol Roger Winston Churchill '93?

Jan 09, 2004 2 Replies

Kind folks of a.f.w. - how is it drinking these days? If I am very lucky, and a good girl, I might just have reason to perhaps celebrate...maybe... TIA for any advice... d.

From our tasting last november, published in VINARIA magazine:

| 1993 Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill | Ungemein tiefe, komplexe, weinig-tiefe Nase, ein großer Weißwein | kündigt sich an; reif, komplex, sehr goût anglais, à point. | 16,7/20

Which would translate into: "Incredidbly deep, complex, vinous nose, a great white wine is giving notice; mature, complex, very 'goût anglais', à point."

That's why I translated it for you ... all the best!

Thank you sir! I was hoping it would be something special...sounds perfect. Unfortunately, I apparently wasn't a good girl! No, I made an offer on a nice condominium, but they didn't accept it, oh, well. When I do find my perfect place, that's what I will have! ;) d.
