I agree, the Pinot is good!
I enjoyed the Sonoma and Napa Pinot Noirs, and the Merlot. I can't remember if I bought any Cabs. Great bang for the buck! I rank it up there with Napa Ridge.
I picked up the Pinot for $10 about 5 months ago (I think it was the
2001, but not sure). This was a very good value.I've also sampled another Castle Rock red, the Cab as I recall, but did not think it was as good as the Pinot.
I really liked the CR Pinot Noir as well. Our local wine shop in NC had bottles for $10.99. But their newest best selling Pinot Noir is Carneros Ridge 1999. It's only $6.99 a bottle and I feel it is very good deal. It is almost as good as the CR Pinot, but at $4.00 less a bottle, I find it hard to buy the CR now.
