Season's Greetings!

Tomorrow we set off for ten days, in Oregon and then California. Wine tourism will play a part of this trip, so expect notes on Chehalem and Argyle in OR, Corison, Lagier Meredith and Schweiger in Napa and Edmunds St. John in Berkeley when we return.

Happy Holidays to all, and my best wishes for 2008, Mark Lipton

Hi Mark

And season's greetings to you too.

on Sun, 23 Dec 2007 00:13:11 -0500, you said:-

If you do see Harry Petersen-Nadry (sp) at Chehalem (do beware of the traffic as you turn into the drive) please give him my best - I still remember our visit there as one of the real highlights of our trip and still have the "Ian's reserve" Chardonnay we bought there, despite our determination NOT to buy.

And ... the Joel Palmer house

was another. Again, if you can manage to squeeze in there, do remember us to him, we had a fabulous meal and visit to his cellar. A true gent.

Have a great trip. Give our love to the ex-boss.
