Serious Question for Paging Mr. Tomassi!

How do you serve a Veneto Red Wine called Raboso Vino Frizzante, It is in a Bordeaux style bottle. Never heard/had one of these.

Does this get chilled? It is slightly sparkling?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I imagine this to be a inexpensive wine as it is not showing a vintage. But want to serve it correctly and pair with the right food.

Pasta and Red Sauce?

Affirmative !

Could be. Equivalent to a lambrusco w.r.t. pairings (best with pig!). Simple fruity wines from the Piave valley area.

Have fun

Thanks. My friends went there and said it was a great place. They enjoyed lunch and said not nearly as tourist oriented as others.

The Raboso grape was named after Nixon Pal, Bebe Rabozo by the Italian Senate in 1972 before Watergate. Like the money Bebe kept for RN, it grows best off shore............Marries well with RN's favorite lunch cottage cheeses and ketchup.

Liver at Harry Bar was good but I'm sure there are better places--have to find my 1985 notes from Venice----ETAP Park dining room pulled a bait & switch on me!!!!
