storage facilities in the northeast US?

Greetings, Does anyone know of any professional storage facilities in the "upper" northeast? Preferably upstate NY, VT, NH, MA, or CT. Possibly ME as well.

Thank you!

I spent some time last year looking into professional storage facilities in the Northeast while renting an apartment in lower Fairfield County Connecticut. My search mainly focused on places that would be roughly within a one hour drive, so depending on your location these places may or may not be helpful to you, but can provide you with a place to start.

I was able to find two places that met the criteria (temperature, inexpensive, secure, insured, etc..)

The first and probably the most well known is Horse Ridge Cellars. They are located north of Hartford near the border of Connecticut and Mass. They have a web site at

There prices are seem reasonable (~$1.25/case per month). I had intended to store about a dozen cases with them but instead bought a house with a cool basement.

The second place that I found is called The Wine Storage Cave. It's a real cave that have been converted for wine storage located in Kingston, NY. They also have a website, although not nearly as pretty as Horse Ridge Cellars, but equally informative.

Another resource that can be helpful is your local wine shops. The proprietors may know of a storage facility that is local to your area.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Jim

Well, maybe not "professional', but I could cellar them for you for a small 'corkage',(ahem) I mean, 'storage' fee. :)
