Nose I get prunes they say cherries and leather Color they say garnet with splash of violet. I say Deep deep violet purple full thick coating of the glass "legs" that won't quit. In the mouth smooth full rich lots of black fruit and heat as befits the

15% alcohol but it mellows a little as you drink and in the end is enticing and seductive.

It is a little heavier than I had hoped for with pork but the fruit will go nicely and at @$14 a very good QPR

I found this to be a heavy cloying wine with high tannins. Not my cup of tea.

Another way to describe this wine for sure. but it went well with the porc aux prunes even if a tad heavy. (though I did not notice a tannin problem as much as the hot alcohol)

and the alcohol might be why I was so darn content at the end of the night :)
