Last night we opted for a light dinner, having had a fairly heavy lunch. With a salad and some dinner rolls, I opened:
2007 Dom. de Pepière Muscadet de Sevre et Maine "Sur Lie" nose: minerals, slightly floral palate: clean, light, crisp, refreshing
This wine was a recent acquisition from my Toledo excursion, and completely unsurprisingly was another success for proprietor Marc Ollivier. Still a decent bargain at ~ $12/bottle and a very versatile white wine. Also, unsurprisingly, the bottle managed to evaporate quickly ;-)
