Not sure why I have this, must have heard something good somewhere. It's made by Dom. de Chevalier, but I think is not a second wine. Maybe I considered 11 EU a good price... :)
Nose very tight, oak and Elmer's Glue. A strange pastiche of un-integrated flavours in the mouth: vanilla, oak, jammy plums, tar, garrigue (!). Round and a bit flabby except for the oak juice backbone. Very modern style, could almost be a chemistry set wine. Oh, did I mention the vanilla oak?
Hopefully it will come together in a few years, (or at least mute itself) but it certainly won't age well longer than 5 or so. In any case I don't plan on opening another bottle for a while.
Not recommended.
