Had this amazing 99 L`Ermita Priorato, Alvaro Palacios yesterday. It's Garnacha, Cab and Carinena cuvee. Really deep purple. Cherries, raspberries, maybe a hint of cinnamon. Red fruit palate, incredibly soft texture, leather and tobacco finish. Pretty complex wine, very noble and rich. Taninns are extremely ripe and smooth. Could last long. Had it with boletus carpaccio with juniperberry-aromatized olive oil and grated manchego cheese. Could imagine to go well with game with cranberries.
