Hi folks,
Still around, thought I'd drop in a TN today. :-)
We arn't big sweet wine drinkers, but just over a year ago we visited Margaret River in Western Australia. While we were there, we dropped in on the Redgate winery and bought a bottle of their desert wine "Anastasia's Delight", a 2000 vintage. It was to "drink now" but we only just opened it last week.
It was very pale, bordering on colourless. The nose was big honeysuckle. The palette was mouthfilling honey and springwater. I'm thinking pixies down the end of the garden. Odd.
Very tasty,
4/5.
