That seems to be in line with what I tasted- not exciting,but decent, and with the tannins light/fully-resolved I don't see much room for improvement.
I also posted this on BWE, and as expected wildly different experiences from various posters. I think we're at 2 "vile" comments, 2 "pretty good"s. I wouldn't buy too much of these- this kind of bottle variation could suck out all the QPR! Dale

A salesman at Sherry-Lehmann told me that the Simard late release wines are stored in glass carboy until bottled; specifically the '90. I was a little surprised but that's what he said...
