2013 Itynera Primitivo Premium, Puglia Italy **Very tart unripe cherries. lacks tannins, very simple, Can drink only with food. If this is premium I never want to taste their nonpremium version.
2009 Oenodea Red. Constantin Lazaridi, Greek Lmacadonia ***Now this is real wine. Lovely Harsh tannic grip on the teeth, dark red frui ts, bit of wood, refreshing acids on the finish. Good white wine replacemen t for the summer.
2012 Cotes Du Rhone Les Quartz, Clos du Caillou ****Enchanting nose of flowers and foreest fruits, fir needles, could use a gra inier tannin, but very good. Lol at the description on the fact sheet - "in tense tannins" and I found it lacking. It reminds me of their cheaper cotes du rhone Bouquet, but has more power.

Promising smell of dark fruits and soil. But the taste had too much cherry and not enough soil. Famiglia Bianchi costs the same and is a much better d eal.
2012 Torbreck GMS, Barossa, Aussie **Mistook this for another torbreck that I like. Erathy Dark scent, but taste was very disappointing. Tastes jammy, clinging, smooth, nice spicy finish, but it turns very bitter. Had to ask for refill of the Quartz to wash away that bitter finish.
