As the name says, this is Sauvignon Blanc from near Tours in the Loire Valley, produced by a growers' co-operative, Vignerons de Oisly et Thésée. It's not going to be mistaken for a NZ Sauvignon and is also rather atypical for the Loire -- most likely a result of the searing summer of '03. This is an excellent QPR choice for SB and a very attractive wine. Imported to the US by Grape Expectations of Richmond, CA.
