Here are further notes from my blog at

2003 Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Riesling Mosel-Saar-Ruwer - Pale gold color, citrus/peach aroma with citrusy/white peppery flavors, finished off-dry. Not too shabby for $5.99 (sale).

2004 Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc California - Very light gold color, lime aroma, limey/grassy flavors with a fairly complex, moderately long finish. Probably the best wine I ever got from Sutter Home at an amazingly low $4.99 (sale).

2002 KOG Hill Riesling - bold gold color, flowery/gasoline nose, peachy apricot flavor with firm structure and a lightly sweet finish. Regular price $12.99. From PA.

2004 Long Trout Ha-Hiyuga Cayuga - a white made from the native US Cayuga grape. light yellow color, peach/lemon aromas and flavors with crisp acidity and an off-dry finish. Cayuga is usually made as a sweet "starter" wine; this is refreshingly atypical. $7.50. From PA.

2004 Domaine De La Batardiere Muscadet Sevre et Maine (from France, obviously) - pale greenish-yellow, interesting seafoam and lime aromas, lime and nut flavors with a slightly acid finish. Bears some resemblance to Sauvignon Blanc. Only $8.99 regular price.

2004 Black Tower Rivaner - very pale yellow, mild peach aroma and flavor with moderate acidity and an off-dry finish. Fairly neutral, an acceptable food wine. $6.99 Rivaner is actually the Muller-Thurgau grape.

2004 Bella Sera Pinot Grigio - light yellow in color, lemon/lime aroma and flavor with racy acidity, fairly long finish. $7.99 on sale

Dan-O (sorry, I don't know how to make the two dots above the "u" in Muller)
