Hi all, Thought you might enjoy this. It's the GE Monogram Walk-in Wine Vault. If you have an extra $35,000 US this might just be what you need.
I'll purchase one as soon as I win the lottery. :-) Dick R.

I should have included the direct link:
Actually seems like a pretty reasonable price for what is shown. You can drop that much on a kitchen remodel and not have anything that nice to show for it.
From the outside, it looks very much like a "cold room," used by biochemists to perform experiments on heat-sensitive biological materials. $35K would be a senstational price for a cold room, proving once again that scientific supply houses make military suppliers look like paragons of cost-consciousness ;-)

Thanks for link. It's way out of my range, and I'm happy with my ugly but functional wine cellar I built with friends. But I was curious as to capacity, which I didn't see on that page. I found out (1100 if using most functional shelving, up to 975 bottles with shown decorative shelving) at this page:
I love the idea that the guy dropping $35K is anxiously awaiting his Beaujolais Nouveau!

According to the ad, he's a real expert: knows the difference between Syrah and Pinot Noir! I wonder if I could fit that thing in my garage? Have to move the Bentley, I guess!

Hey Dale,
That's what I was looking for too. Whenever I'm buying racking I look at the cost per bottle, which I hope will come under $0.50. (With luck). 1000 bottles is kind of small anyway, but this racking comes at a whopping $35/bt!
I'll spend mine on wine, thanks.

But just think of how your Beaujolais Nouveaux will age in that puppy! (at $35 a bottle your fully matured BN will only cost 39.99 or roughly $38 more than it is worth.
It's $35,000 for enough room to store 1,
