What will you have for X-mas?

Hello; Unlike the unhappy 50´s singer (the wag Spike Jones), I hope to get more than my two front tee-TH. So far, we have planned the (not) traditional Christmas lunch in an Italian style, starting, after the infamous 'mumma', containing secret ingredients obtained by a friendly Kosovo Albanian (don´t ask), with Umani Rhonchi´s quite honest and fresh Casal di Serra (which is a good buy at a small price) to accompany the cod demi-salé with tapas-like garniture. We will then continue, in the Italian vein, with Tomassi´s Ripasso (anything named Tomassi can´t be all bad, hey, what, Mike? what? what?) which will grace the (not) traditional ham, served with salt baked beets, figs braised in red wine, and cruditées made of Jerusalem artichaux and apples. Same wine with the cheese, and, from the same producer, the Recioto di Valpolicella, with the riz a l´amande.

So what´s yours?

Cheers Nils Gustaf
