When your grandpere isn't REALLY your grandpere (not an adoption story)

Nice article, Dale. I knew the outlines of this story, but the details provided are quite enlightening. For the record, I've met and spoken with Scott Harvey before, during and after his tenure with Renwood (he's quite a character, and never one to hold back his thoughts) and (I think) I also know "the other woman" in his relationship with Terri. Certainly, I've felt that Renwood's "Grandpere" bottlings took a turn for the worse after his departure. In the end, I'm rooting (no pun intended) for the vineyard itself: Smerling's apparent glee at the prospect that it has phylloxera is offensive.
