Wine gift suggestion

Hi,

I am new to this forum and really happy to be part of this. As everyon suggested their favorite link I would also like to add one site throug which I often buy wine and it has been really good and prompt service have recieved.

Their rates are really competitive and they offer FREE delivery i connecticut. My friend recommended their name and since then I hav been buying wine online through them only. Recently I have purchas bunch of good wine collection through them and trust me it wa delivered in good condition and were really great.

I recommend them to all.

In any case, Grapes in CT are kinda infamous in my winegeek circles as the kings of bait & switch. If I'm not mistaken, Winesearcher booted them off their system because they listed tons of hard to get wines (that they hadn't acquired) on winesearcher, then tried to switch folks (high-pressure tactics) when they called. I did call one time, re some non-existent Trimbach CFE VT, if memory serves correctly.

Please don't confuse them with Grapes the Wine Store in Rye, NY, a reputable outfit.

On another board, there's yet another complaint re these guys- executed orders, charged credit cards, then "oops, we don't have it, wouldn't you like Chateau Whogivesadamn instead".
