Hello, I started with a very simple recipe using frozen 100% Welch's grape concentrate in Terry Garey's book "The Joy of Home Winemaking" - check Terry's site out. Otherwise, I would suggest you check out Jack's site to learn a bit about making wine before you start.

How simple? What equipment do you have, if any? Do you have a winemaking book? How much wine do you want (in bottles if it is easier)? How much time do you have to look after it? How much space do you have? How much money do you have to spend? Do you want high quality? Wine making like alot of other things (blacksmithing to name one) sounds easy before you start asking all those questions. Ken

If you want a simple recipe, there is nothing simpler than to get a kit wine. Great way to start and as far as the whites, you can make a really pleasing wine. Let us know your tastes and we can suggest something. After a kit or two you can consider making a wine from scratch.

Bring juice home ,take lid off let warm up to room temp. once juice gets warmed up it will start to ferment. It will work hard for about 10-15 days when it starts to slow up.strine juice into jug place air lock with drilled stopper.and wait for about 4-6wks Rerack remaining juice and drink to your health.

India, WOW! You definitely need to get some books on country wine. You can make some really exotic wines with fruits over there. Skim through the books without really digesting them. Look at the recipes and then modify them to what you have. Definitely visit

but get some books. I have a batch of lychee aging now. The fruit bouquet is amazing.
