Santa Ynez Valley. a GMS with a little Cinsault thrown in very CdP and an excellent accompaniment to rack of lamb. The wine is deep in color with an enticing nose and red currants lots of acid to cut the lamb, and yet in excellent balance. The finish is long and peppery/minty. I bought this at Costco few years back. Last bottle, too bad.
