:-) Thanks anyway. I'm not interested in googlegroups ...
There are some very fine newsgroups out there that have user-maintained archives. I thought maybe this was one of them.
I guess I was wrong.
I don't think you have to subscribe to google groups to use the archive. Ok you can't easily filter out the nutters but it does work.
