Re: Posting problems

Ray, Your message got here okay. I wish I could help with the other stuff. I have not noticed anything odd lately with my posts. Darlene

I have been having trouble for the last week with messages I post to this > and the mead group disappearing or saying that they had been deleted by the > sender. I am posting messages to only one group at a time. Either in response to an existing message or as a new post. But only to one group. I have been having this trouble on both the rec.craft.meadmaking and rec.craft.winemaking. In the case I was refering to here I was posting a reply to a message appearing on this group but when I selected Reply to Group, instead of using the winemaking address, it was sending the message to the address listed in my original post.

Geeze Ray, You need to take this up with your ISP... This group is not a sounding board for your trials and tribulations in life.. get over it...!!!

Sounds like you hit the "Reply" button instead of the "Reply Group" button. Try doing it both ways to see what happens (then just cancel the message without sending). HTH

No that was not it because they would appear in the index for an hour or two before they would be removed. It happened for a week or so regularly and now not so often. Maybe it will clear up.

Thanks everybody that had something positive to contribute. First time I have been flamed on this site.
