Demijohn - a glass bottle, like a carboy.

DJÞmijohn= a carboy in the UK, a chianti-shaped bottle in the colonies
Difference between carboys and demijohns in Canada is shape as well...

Despite the demijohn pic being named carboy.jpg, that is what we call demijohns around here... usually they are larger and have a faux wicker basket around them. They seem to be favoured by the local Italians and Portuguese fellows.
