If there is a link to this info, post it. Otherwise, it's BS.
Turns out A-B was unloading unsold bottles of their "hi-test" Christmas beer to employees before the expiration date and the accountants in the Purchasing & Acquisitions Department, after a "lunch" in the parking lot (it WAS such a lovely spring day), screwed up the deals and bought these outfits "by mistake". (Lesson- "Don't drink and merge.")

Dohhh!! (I got up WAY to early this morning!!!)
But thanks for reminding me what day it is...hehehe!
And Google is now helping with romance.
Ah, yes, and do look at the date on the press release.
I always thought smart guys from Seattle were less gullible than most.

Actually, because it fell on a weekend, April Fool's was, um, "celebrated" on Monday the 3rd this year...
April Fool's is a government holiday now? Cool.

If the beer stays the same, who cares?

Guess who's not paying attention this year...
Not it isn't. For instance, this year, it's April 17.

Of course. Consider the many governmental regs on beer, for instance. (Or don't. Drink a beer instead.) Clearly, they were April Fool's gags that, somehow, got taken seriously.
However, what was not at all foolish was the bottle of 3 Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek that Herself & myself downed at the Toronado last Saturday. Now, *that* is a kriek. A very good one, indeed.
No foolin'.
BTW, A-B *has* entered into a distribution deal with a small brewery, but not Boston Brewing/Sam Adams.
