Bars with Belgian Beer in Boston/Cambridge?

; Any recommendations?

Sunset Grill & Tap, on Brighton Av, Allston. Bukowsky's, on Dalton St, Back Bay (across from the ICA)

I'm sure there are others, these are just the ones that I know of off the top of my head.

Thank you for these recommendations. We tried both. The Sunset Grill had an extensive selection of Belgians, micros and other foreign beers. They claimed 400 varieties; most in bottles, some on tap. Who is to doubt them? I don't think I have been to a bar that had more selection. We didn't eat there but the bar is comfortable enough. Pretty brightly lit the whole place looks like a lunchroom. The crowd was half student; half those a little older and wiser.

Bukowsky's, across from the Prudential center,at the Prudential T, had a much smaller list of Belgians; but all good ones, nonetheless.

Narrow building set in one corner of the parking garage for the Prudential. Nice atmosphere. Punk music in the background. Crazy bartender, a few tables, attentive waitress, attractive girls, mostly students. Id's checked (were they legal? If so, then just barely). Bukowsky's was a Boston version of Chicago's Delialah's.

These were a real find!!! Thank you Jeffrey Kaplan. I will go back to both my next trip to Boston!!!

You should have been there on Halloween. The bartender did himself up as if he had a major shaving accident - shaving his head (fake blood down his face).

Did you try the beer wheel? Tell the waitress or bartender to spin the wheel, and you get whatever it lands on. Could be good, could be "Mike's Hard Lemonade".

You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed them. OH! Another place you might like is Redbones, in Davis Square, Somerville. The food is "Southern Barbeque", and they have a rather good beer bar.
