Britain is "running out of lager"

Aug 09, 2003 3 Replies

The press are reporting that due to the current heatwave, Britain's stock of "lager" is down to ten days.

Oh. I wish. An entire nation devoid of Carling Black Label, Stella and Carlsberg.

Anyroad, I made sure I stocked up on DeKoninck. The proles can get thirsty. I got Antwertpen's finest in me fridge.

Sorry, got carried away for moment.

With regards, Ted Remove "ReBoot" in my address if you wish to send me e-mail.

Quick, send 'em some of ours! We'll do without for awhile for the sake of international relations.

no, honestly, that's fine, we'll make do, we couldn't possibly put you to so much trouble, really . . .

unless it's the Prima Pils, etc you were thinking of sending over? we'll replace it with our own quality indigenous lagers - Kestrel, Skol, Hofmeister, etc. :~) MikeMcG
