It's a *beer* newsgroup. Wine is nice, but OT.

C'mon, it can't be *that* hard to find beer topics to post.

But just in case it really is that hard for you: *plonk*

Don, I can relate to cranky. I am cranky. I'm still in my 30s, and I'm already one step away from yelling at kids to get off my lawn. And I don't even have a lawn.

But c'mon. I've never seen someone so quick with the "plonk" button. It's not like Garrison showed up yesterday. It's not like he hasn't posted dozens, if not hundreds of beer-related threads, including a lot of stuff about the efforts to keep some life in what used to be, many decades back, one of America's great beer cities.

So Garrison made a mistake. Heaven forfend. If a careless mention of wine in a beer group offends you so deeply, it may be time to put your hands up and take a step away from the computer.

Wait 'til you hit 50. You won't even wait for the little buggers to get on your lawn. You'll be yelling at 'em to get out of the alley while you drive down it at 75 mph. [*evil cackle*]

Something else that happens in one's 50s...

Eh, a *plonk* just means I'm not gonna bother reading any more.

Fact is, only a minority of the last bunch of GH's posts have featured beer/brewing. There are other fora for discussion of wine, liqueurs, and the like. So, plonkage. Sue me.
