Bath pubs

Hi,

Going to Bath soon for an overnight stay.

Are there any really good not to be missed pubs that serve real ale. I've been to

The Bell Hacketts Kings Arms Old Farmhouse and Old Green Tree.

in the past and so want to try something new.

Any suggestions?

There are a couple of Bath Ales pubs. One I've been to, the Hop Pole, is a little walk out of the town centre but worth the trip. The other is closer to the centre but I forget the name. Check the Bath Ales web site.

Regards, Lee.

The 'Star Inn'

23 The Vineyards, just off the Paragon. (it's in the street just behind the 'Bell' you've already visited)

An Abbey Ales house with guest Beers (their brewery is behind the 'Old Farmhouse' that you've already visited)

Cheers 'n enjoy.

An old memory of Bath is being in a pub called the Regency about 20 years ago. I noticed a framed poster saying "The Regency motto, Never leave your friends behind". We looked at the other customers more carefully then beat a hasty reteat.
