It was a mistake, I don't post messages often, and just replied without thinking about the format properly, ne'er mind, DOH! Amanda Lou X

S'Okay. I'm not offended, merely pointing something out. There are people out there that regard top posting as a hanging offence.

Anyway, got round to giving the branch manager an earhole bashing yet?

It's always good to start with something you feel strongly about. Don't rehearse, but do write a short set of bullet points you'd like to use. Don't worry if you forget any.

I used to trip over words and run a mile from public speaking and I still do if it's something I don't feel strongly about.(Hence the comment above) Written stuff here on the net is easier.

their stores, and the answer is yes, just got an e-mail off customer service saying: "I am sorry that you can no longer obtain BUDWEISER BUDVAR LAGER and I apologise for the inconvenience caused. To allow us to keep our prices low, we stock products according to their popularity and the amount of space available. Unfortunately, this particular product did not sell very well in our stores and we have reluctantly decided to stop selling it. I am sorry to offer you a disappointing reply but I am sure you will appreciate why we have done this."

You could have just said "please don't top post, there's a dear". And OE-Quotefix will make things look pretty in different colours, but won't prevent top posting!

Returning to topic, Tesco have gone really downlill as far as beer is concerned recently. In fact I think they beginning to go the same way as the Roman Empire - too much success breeds compacency. Last time I was there, several items were out of stock - some had been for several weeks. On the way out I was going to complete a "comments" form, except that there were neither comments forms nor pencils to write on them with.

Although the Safeways that were taken over had a better selection, in my opinion.

I know the Safeway guy and he left. IIRC he now works for Meantime but I might be wrong about that, not seen him for a long time.

Morrisons have recently introduced a "foreign beer section" quite apart from the usual lagers, which includes some interesting stuff.
