Can anyone recommend a pub in the Ambleside/Hawkshead area that is both child friendly and is likely to have Rugby on sky TV? We're on holiday in the area in a couple of weeks time and can't bear the thought of missing the Leicester v Sale game on the 27th! (for some reason my wife and daughter won't agree to cancelling the holiday so we can go to the match!).

Try the Kings Arms, Hawkshead. The link below says they're child friendly, and I think they should have the rugby on but you could always phone them to check.
Anyway, the ale's good (the local brew) which is the main thing IMO!
