London: Hampstead Heath (area)

I will be accompanying a lady (real ale enthusiast!) next weekend visiting her teenage haunts in Hampstead. I note that the Duke of Hamilton, is the only current GBG entry. Grateful for any additional recommendations.

Thanks in advance, Graham.

I would try the Holly Bush in Holly Mount, the Flask in Flask Walk (Youngs) and the Three Horseshoes in Heath Street (Wetherspoons).

All three are within five minutes walk of the Duke of H.

If you're arriving at Hampstead by tube, make sure you take the stairs, and not the lift.

You'll appreciate the ale all the more.
