I notice that Mike Field's - he of the West Riding Licensed Refreshment Rooms in Dewsbury and Cellar Bar in Batley - latest venture, the Sportsman, is now up and running.
It's straight out of the railway station, turn left after the George Hotel and carry on for 200 yards or so.
Should be worth a visit, if you're able to drag yourself out of the King's Head (always a problem!)
