Anyone know any pubs near Southwark tube station or south side of Blackfriars bridge which are open Saturday afternoon please? What about the Rose & Crown (Shep's)?

Two that are very close to Southwark tube station are The Paper Moon and The Ring - both on Blackfriars Road. The Ring is definitely open Saturday afternoon, and so was Paper Moon when I was there back in March, but that was for a private function.

I've been in it recently on a Saturday, although I'm not regularly in that part of the world.
Another one worth a look in the general area is the King's Arms in Roupell St (just round the corner from Waterloo E.).
