Any resource out there on the web that discusses the height of the head for a perfect pour of Guinness Draught?

1/4 inch?
1/2 inch?
3/4 inch?
1 inch?

Eeeh....measure two fingers, multiply the result in inches times 2, divide by 3 and multiply by six. The result should get you high.

Any height u like , Its not going to make the beer taste any better !

thats a load of crap! beer is supposed to have a decent head... Guinness doubly so.

it depends on the size of the glass... try one fifth of the of the glass's hight.

A fifth? A bit of a firm head is nice, but a fifth? Come on. I prefer to drink beer, not foam.

On a standard British pint glass, I prefer about a finger's worth, which is probably a bit over half an inch. Still leaves me a good 90 percent of more of actual beer to enjoy.

Whatever room is left between the pint marker and the top of the glass.

I am paying for beer, not nitrogen filled foam.
