All, I was wondering if anyone had tried to replicate or was aware of a similary recipe to LostCoast Breweries Downtown Brown? It is a brewery in Eureka, Ca. My wife and I come from there and the don't distribute it in Colorado so we would like to make some.

Have been hoping someone would post here. I too like Lost Coast's stuff (really enjoy the Indica IPA). As a last resort, you could check with local homebrew shops, sometimes they can special order that kind of stuff if there's interest-- our homebrew shop happens to carry Lost Coast on a regular basis...

You might try asking the brewery via e-mail. That sometimes will give you some hints. Also, you can get the yeast from a bottle of beer if you're into yeast culturing. Warren Place
