Sherlock Holmes

I got the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes on DVD from Wal-Mart for $1.00 and in the Case of Lady Beryl there's a shelf in his flat with glass bottles containing various levels of dark liquids labeled as follows:

"Poison" "Deadly Poison" "Snake Poison" "Tea"

That's great! Is this the series with Jeremy Brett, or something else entirely?

The series aired 1954-55, starred Ronald Howard, and the DVD has 3 episodes:

  1. The Case of Harry Crocker
  2. The Case of the Cunningham Heritage
  3. The Case of Lady Beryl

I prefer these to the ones starring Nigel Rathbone because Watson isn't such a doofus.

I hear that. Thanks for the info, too.
