Glen Turner

I was in Paris last week and picked up a bottle of 8 yr old Glen Turner. I have never heard of this distillery before and would like to know more. I did an internet search on this distillery and the is some French connection that I didn't understand. Can someone explain this?

There is no distillery by that name. A independent French bottler is using the name for selling an unspecified whisky.
