'76 was an ok not great year I think, and better for Medoc than Right Bank. I've never heard of Cros des Manut, it's certainly not one of the name St.Emilions. Most of the Medocs are fading, so an unknown St.Emilion would be a total crap shoot. With evidence of good storage you might get $30. W/o, $5-10 for novelty.

St. Emilion has a lot of no-name chateaux that produce a lot of plonk. Though I think the appelation as a whole has made great strides in the last 10-15 years.

As a followup, I just bought 1976 Pape-Clement for $6.99 from Premier Cru. Now, Pape-Clement wasn't in the best of periods then. This is a bottle that I bought more in the spirit of science than thinking I was getting great aged Bdx. But certainly Pape-Clement would generally fetch more than unknown St.E in pretty much any vintage. Dale
