For our Monday zoom group, the 2005 Ch. Branaire-Ducru (with dry aged shell steak, potato salad, cousa squash). Decanted 2 hours before serving. Lovely and balanced, ripe cassis and herb notes, with just a touch of incipient cigarbox. Surprisingly easy tannins for ?05 , structured but easy to drink. Some thought at it?s best, I?d expect definite improvement for my tastes. A-
