Acacia 1999 Carneros Pinot Noir

I received a bottle of this as a gift. Any ideas what sort of wine experience I am in for?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

You're in for a good experience, as that is a fine little pinot. It has good body, floral violet perfume, silky finish - wonder why pinot noirs are referred to as "sexy"?

Thanks, Kirk. That description also applies to the lady I'm lucky enough to be sharing it with!

You're a winner twice then. Have you tried it yet? (the wine)

You should love this fruity Pinot Noir. I've found with the Acacia, that a year, or two, in the cellar does it good, though it is a nice drinker upon release. The '99 might have lost some of its fruit, but there is enough backbone to still provide a lot of satisfaction. All my '99s are gone now, or I'd pop one and give you TN's on it. I still have 00's and they are drinking nicely now.
