The Stump Jump by D'Areneburg. from Australia. Grenache, Shiraz, Movedre (sorry for the spelling, I am on to my 5th bottle tonight) . 12.95 Canadian. A total STEAL.
Borsao Tres Picos 2002 from Spain - $10.99 on sale here in Boston - 100% Garnacha.
Hi Doug,
I think the Stump Jump is a white.

Larry, there is indeed a red (pretty sure GSM) Stump Jump. Which I didn't like (google groups should turn up post), but which is definitely red. Sounds like this is a brand, rather than a particular wine. Dale

Did you find some in Canada? Our LCBO only lists the white.

We have it in BC.
Most every red Cotes du Rhone is made primarily from Grenache, and most are sold in your price range. Decent, readily available choices are Perrin Reserve and Jaboulet Parallele 45 and Chapoutier Belleruche. There are many other good ones out there, too, but some sell for more than $15.

The 45 and Belleruche are my choices as well. For merlot, I frequently have Forest Glen. I did not catch all of his original message so he might have mentioned that one though.
I've only ever seen the red. I had a glass on Friday, in fact. It's very drinkable for the price.
