> I do know my Italian wines fairly well, and I find it most
> distressing that more people don't bother to learn more about
> the rest of the wine world than California Chardonnay or Cabernet S.
Do you recognise these words (yours!!!)
How dare you even suggest that "more people should learn more about *the rest of the wine world*" when you are so obsessed with the wines of I___y, that, by your own admission, you have no experience whatsoever outside of I___y.
Why don't you heed your own words?
You may actually find that, while I___y certainly does produce *some* excellent wines, by far the great volume is rather ordinary stuff, devoid of any special characteristics.
On another note, even more ridiculous is another of your "pearls of wisdom" that you developed this pathological hatred of France and can judge 60 million French people on the basis that you "once flew over France"
Migod, go get a job with the CIA. They need people with these skills - in Iraq!!!!!
Just remember, France *does* believe in State-sponsored terrorism - you may just have made it onto the DGSE's list of most-wanted.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving, enjoying your I_____n turkey!!!
