California Wine Tours (Need advice)

Ah, "Sideways," I hope that some of my friends, who live in the Central Coast regions will let me know when the coast is clear. I would imagine that the road to Los Olivos looks like Hwy 29 in the Summer. Glad I got to spend two weeks there before the film came out. I think this will be a passing fad, as someone is likely to do "wine" & road film about some other AVA, just to cash in on the craze. Since Hollywood seems to me in a me-too phase, with remakes of every film ever done, plus every tired, old TV series, they cannot resist a buddy-flick set in Lodi.
