Sonoma B+B, narrowed it down to 3, need help

Hi all,

My wife and I have narrowed our choice for a Bed and Breakfast down to three places... we are looking for any expereinces or thoughts on any of them. The three are:

Thistle Dew The Inn at Sonoma The Cottage

Any thoughts/info/comments are appreciated.

Forgetaboutit, I was their a little while ago. Best place to stay "The Farmhouse Inn" No doubt about it!You can have your own private sauna in your room, great message and world class resturant. Don't forget I told you about it Howie

Hi Frank,

I recommend you contact Stay Sonoma. They are a reservation service based in Sonoma and the website is StaySonoma.com. It's a great resource, they have information on all kinds of properties and their service is free.

I'll second the recommendation for the Farmhouse restaurant --- we had an exceptional evening there.

The places I suggested are all in Sonoma plaza b/c someone recommended that area. The Farmhouse looked great but isn't in that area, but I'm not sure how important staying near the plaza really is...

Location is fine 20 min from any place you need to go. I was there for 3 nights, visited a great many wineries in Sonoma and Napa. Believe me you will love it. If I every get back to the area that is where I will stay again. Greetings from NYC. Howie

Fellow NYer here!

Just booked the Farmhouse, looking forward to it. One last quick question, any idea if they had bikes available for some long rides to the vineyards... seems safer than driving (after a couple of glasses).
