Chablis and Gruner questions

I can buy 6 each of the following anyone try either, opinion?

05 Simonnet Febvre Chablis at $9.99 '05 Sepp Moser Gruner Veltliner at $7.99 (all prices USD)

Never heard of Simonnet Febvre, but '05 Chablis at $10 is hard to find. Sepp is good value, if not top notch (haven't had the '05, but liked '06)

You have mirrored my sentiment on the Chablis. Wine guy swears customers have raved. I missed this when it came in and he is offering the sale price a month late, guess I "must" buy and report back!

Very much depends on what wine one is talking about. Grüner Veltliner Gebling would be among the top 20 GVs in any vintage.

this is the Sepp Grüner Veltliner 2005 Kremstal I found it not bad a bit thin, but for 7.99US a nice little wine.

OK, that's his basic bottling -- something I rarely get to taste, for the simple reason that procuders tend to send the best they have to our tastings ... ;-)
