GBBF Questions

Jul 29, 2004 4 Replies

I'll be attending the GBBF on Thursday and if anyone can answer my questions I'd be grateful.

  1. Does the entry fee entitle you to anything other than entrance, or does it include the purchase of a glass?
  2. Are the prices of beers at all discounted, or are they the usual London prices?
  3. Do sessions now run all day? Thanks, Paul

Just entrance.

I'm not too familiar with London prices but from memory the prices are comparible with Reading prices.

We're talking the likes of £1.60 to £2.20 per pint (extremes), most cask ales costing between £1.80 and £2.00 a pint, IIRC.

Cheers !

Which if true is pretty cheap by London standards!

I hope this year's prices fall into this £1.80 to £2.00 bracket again... I've served and sold a few hundred pints last year, so let me humbly assume my memory doesn't fail me here. ;o)

Cheers !

Laurent
