Does anyone know of a UK importer for Chateau de Mercues? Google hasn't produced anything of use so far.
I had a bottle of the 1989 at dinner with friends last night and I'm beginning to see what the fuss about Cahors was. I'd had too many that were frankly disappointing to be over enthusiastic about it beforehand.
It was big, but it had integrated beautifully and was redolent of proper liquorice and a little of violet.
